Third, use your device camera to scan the front and back of your driver’s license or ID card. Fourth, follow the app’s registration steps to take a selfie. Finally, set up app security, and you’re good to go! However, it is important to note that Mississippi Mobile ID is considered an state-issued ID, serving as a companion to your physical ID. Therefore, you should continue to carry your physical ID because not all entities are able to verify mID yet. It is worth mentioning that Mississippi Mobile ID is a reliable and secure way to verify your identity. It is designed to protect your personal information, and it requires an Android 7 and newer.
